consists of Paul & Hailey and our 3 children. When we were first married, our DREAM was of owning land to be able to farm and have animals. Soon enough, we managed to raise chickens on our smaller, in-town lot back in 2011. We also started gardening around that time. Actually, all the way back to one of Paul's 3rd grade assignments, he wrote that he wanted to have pigs one day...

... to 2016, we purchased our first pigs! Driven by a desire to know the source of our food and live a healthier lifestyle, we started raising pigs and chickens. It was so rewarding giving the animals the best care and life, and in return knowing exactly where our food came from. Over the years, we moved and were able to raise several steers for beef as well. We loved it. We knew we wanted more land to be able to grow our farm!

...to purchase our current property in 2021. It was just land though, so we have spent the last several years building our home, barns, installing fencing, planting trees & gardens, adding cows & pigs to our herd and trying to steward the land to the best of our abilities.

...we understand this is our passion, but it's not easy by any means. There have been many tough situations that make us wonder, "why do we do this?". But the good and beautiful outweigh the inevitable hard and heartache and we feel blessed to be able to do this life together. Our farm is named after our only daughter who we affectionately call "Honeybee". It has been her nickname since she was born, and it is the perfect fit for our homestead.
